After graduating from College of Charleston, I spent some time working and traveling in Europe. After having the privilege of soaking up the rich culture of London, Belguim, and Switzerland, I made my way back to Charleston, SC. This is where I fell into and in love with Modern Trousseau. Growing up with a mother who is a talented seamstress, I have always loved quality materials, details, and customization. It is no surprise that working for a bridal designer with the same values just felt right!
I loved getting my bridal career started at Modern Trousseau’s Charleston flagship and I am now privileged to continue working with brides in the beautiful Nashville boutique. In these two southern, but very different cities, I’ve been able to work with brides that have wonderfully vast varieties of styles. From traditional and coastal to artistic and fashion forward, my favorite part of working with brides is being able to help them hone in on the look that is truest to themselves and give them an incredible gown shopping experience.
Reese Witherspoon. She keeps it classy, simple & southern. Always true to her roots with a twist of chic!
I will always love a traditional look with that one “wow” factor that is specific to the bride, whatever that may be!

Shortly after moving to Nashville from Arkansas where I was born and raised, I fell in love with all things bridal when my sister became engaged and I was helping her with wedding planning. Throughout the gown shopping process with my sister I began to realize I could marry my love of fashion and retail experience with my newfound love for bridal. After doing some shopping we made an appointment at Modern Trousseau’s Nashville flagship where my sister ended up finding her dream gown! And as things that are meant to be tend to work out, I learned that there was a position available at the very boutique that my sister had just found her perfect wedding dress. Three weeks later I found myself sitting at the desk at Modern Trousseau, with the privilege of helping brides find their dream gown every day! It truly is a dream job and I love every moment of it. When I’m not making memories with our amazing brides, I can be found attending any live music show in Nashville and trying as many new restaurants as I can.
I love exploring Nashville, going to happy hour with my friends, seeing as much live music as possible, or binge watching a Netflix series.
She might not be a celebrity, but fictional character Blair Waldorf from the TV show “Gossip Girl”. (Her wedding to Chuck Bass) Any bride that has the style bravery to wear color to her wedding gets an A+ in my book! Plus, blue is my favorite color 🙂
The best thing about working in bridal is when you hear a bride say how much of an impact you have made on their most important day in their lives so far. It’s a feeling that cannot be beaten!
