Candy is texture and movement made in silk. A softly draped, folded sweetheart bodice — sculpted from Italian silk duchess satin into a boned corset — releases into a voluminous skirt of diagonally-pleated, blush-pink striped silk organza that swirls around the body in graceful drapes and folds. A dramatic peplum and long train give it sculptural movement: sweetness, captivating and utterly refined.

Modern Trousseau is an American bridal house, founded in 1986, with its own atelier in Connecticut. Each gown is cut to more than thirty of the bride’s measurements and sewn from French and Italian silks and laces, never a size off the rack. Necklines, sleeves, silhouettes and trains can all be tailored to the bride.
