12/10 would recommend Modern Trousseau DC! If you’re looking for  classy, beautiful, timeless gowns and exceptional customer service, look no further. I’ve been to Modern Trousseau twice – once as a Maid of Honor and once as the Bride – and each experience was something I’ll never forget. Each time we were the only group in the studio and it was nice to have the place to ourselves. The staff are kind, considerate, and extremely helpful. As a bride, Sabrina helped me find the perfect dress. Truthfully, I wasn’t sure if I would have “that moment” and after 20 dresses, she had me try on one that was on a mannequin nearby. As soon as I stepped into it and she pinned the cathedral length veil on me, I was a puddle. Can’t thank her enough for her guidance and expertise. Book an appointment and enjoy every minute of it!

Modern Trousseau was our first salon appointment and it set the bar high. After we went to another salon, we realized how helpful it was to have Sabrina ask the right questions and be perceptive enough to guide us towards decisions. As someone who can be indecisive and who loves dresses to begin with, I knew that I would have a hard time deciding, but we ended up going back to Modern Trousseau the same day and putting two dresses together to make the perfect dress. Phenomenal experience! I cannot recommend this shop enough! The staff was amazing, very sweet and made you feel so excited about your special day… The gowns themselves are GORGEOUS! For the bride looking for something classic or unique, this is a MUST stop shop– you can truly make the dress of your dreams here, with the sweetest and most chic “fairy godmother” attendants you can imagine.

Modern Trousseau is such a special place to shop for a wedding dress – I highly recommend it to all brides! It is different than most bridal boutiques in that all dresses are from the same designer and because each is made to order, they are 100% customizable. As you try on dresses, you can decide on a top from one, a lace from another, less layers, etc. It is SO fun to design your dress as you go, and the team there has such a sharp eye for helping you think through options. I especially loved working with Sabrina who was so welcoming, thoughtful, and creative. As a result, I not only love the dress I chose (that I designed!) but I also have the most fond memories of the experience. Highly, highly recommend making Modern Trousseau a stop on your wedding dress journey!

I could not have imagined a more perfect wedding dress shopping experience than the one I experienced at Modern Trousseau DC. They had a fantastic selection of gorgeous, quality made dresses in a variety of styles, and the shop is situated in a lovely part of Georgetown. However, what absolutely made the experience was Sabrina. She was knowledgeable, strategic, supportive, and never made it seem like you were inconveniencing her. She was SO knowledgeable and helpful and really worked to get you what you wanted as well as what you may never have envisioned for yourself. I didn’t feel like she randomly brought me dresses; there was an order that made sense that all culminated in a dress I LOVED. I thought I knew exactly what I wanted going into the store, but I am so grateful for the perfectly selected pieces and combinations Sabrina helped bring to life that led me to my dress!

I don’t have enough great things to say about my experience at Modern Trousseau! I found exactly what I was looking for, it was stress free and so much fun for my mom & me. Modern Trousseau was my first stop of 3 shops in DC and I ended up finding my dress and canceling the other 2. Being able to customize your dress as much as you’d like to the point where it is essentially a custom gown is a game changer! And it’s all made in the USA!
